Advisory*: we offer general market advice, reports/reviews as well as arranging trade execution services as per your order instructions.
Market trade: a no frills execution only service, usually offered via an electronic trading platform accessed through the internet.
* Trend Investor Services P/L (TREND) do not offer clients personal advice and in fact recommend that the client themselves take into consideration their own financial situation, objectives and requirements before they consider and/or decide to act upon the appropriateness of the "general" advice as provided by TREND (AFSL 255475).
Products
Securities
Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) listed stock, share, scrip and options that clients may wish to trade are available* through our broking service and all trade orders are executed through a participant organisation of the ASX
*note: possibly subject to Exchange and /or company restrictions at times.
Futures / Derivatives
All local and offshore Futures and Options contracts, as traded on eligible Exchanges, can be accessed through Trend's relationship with its global broker who provides trade execution and clearing services, has access to local and international markets, and may be a participant member of the ASX and/or SFE.
Foreign Exchange / Currency Trading
We can arrange trading facilities to enable our clients to take exposure to foreign exchange in all the major currencies; US Dollar (USD), British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY) and Euro Dollar (EUR) with cross trading in the Australian Dollar (AUD), the Canadian Dollar (CAD) and New Zealand Dollar (NZD), through either a Spot and/or Margin FX position.
Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDA)
Trend Investor Services P/L has a skilled and dedicated team of analysts and MDA Managers that are able to offer Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDA) to clients in a range of financial products for example Futures, Equities, and Options. The principal of Trend Investor Services P/L, Alex Papas, holds the registered MDA licence, approved by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
